The Whale Shark

Hey there! 

So you were feeling audacious enough to scan that QR code? As a reward for your curiosity we'd like to tell you a short story about the design on the sweater you're looking at. 

Whale Sharks are the largest of any fishes alive today; they grow up to 20 meters in length and live between 100 and 150 years. These gentle giants roam the oceans feeding on plankton, and have a beautiful pattern of spots which makes each of them each one of them unique.

We think Whale Sharks are awesome. Swimming with them in them one day is on each of our bucket lists. But they are an endangered species, at threat from illegal fishing as well as being accidentally captured in legally used fishing gear.
